THE JUBILEE CONFERENCE ON RES IN YAKUTSK WILL ATTRACT 250 DELEGATES FROM VARIOUS COUNTRIES OF THE WORLD
The Fifth International Conference on the Development of Renewable Energy in the Far East of Russia will be hosted by Yakutsk on June 22–-24, 2017. Organized by RusHydro PJSC and the Government of the Republic of Sakha (Yakutia). One week before the opening of the conference 250 delegates from 135 countries have already confirmed their participation in the program.
Several official foreign delegations, as well as representatives of major global companies from Japan, China, the USA, Germany, France, Switzerland, the Czech Republic, Kazakhstan, and Uzbekistan, will participate in the 2017 conference. The conference will open with a plenary session, whose speakers will include the Head of the Republic of Sakha (Yakutia) Egor Borisov and RusHydro PJSC Board Chairman and CEO Nikolay Shulginov.The following persons will deliver the welcoming speeches: first deputy of the Russian Energy Committee SergeyEsyakov, Consul General of the USA in Vladivostok Michael Keays, Consul General of Germany in NovosibirskViktor Richter, and Deputy Consul of China Liu Quan.
Delegates will participate in plenary sessions and round tables dedicated to the issues of the regulatory framework in this sector, project financing, and specific features of construction and exploitation of the RES facilities in isolated energy systems and in extreme climates.
Leading Russian and foreign companies will present their experience in the implementation of RES projects. An exhibition of renewable energy generation equipment will also be held as part of the conference. Every year, over 20,000 people visit the exhibition, at which manufacturers of energy equipment demonstrate their cutting-edge technologies in the RES sphere.
The Conference for the Development of Renewable Energy in the Far East of Russia has been held annually since 2013. This year, the event will be held on June 22–-24 in the building of the Sakha Theater.
